Jay Edward started his music career at age 15 in the Fox River Valley growing up in Oshkosh. At age 20 he moved to So. Calif. and continued his pursuit of a music career. Under the teaching and influence of Charlie Musselwhite, William Clarke and others, Jay eventually finds his style and tone to become one of the regions best. Moving between Southern and Northern California, Jay was exposed to and played with a large group of players before spending the next 20 years with recording artist the Nightcrawlers . After 35 years of playing, recording and working in L.A., Jay moved home to The Fox Valley to form a WI version of The Jay Edward Band. The Jay Edward Band was nominated for a number of 2018 WAMI awards, and won in 2019 for Best Blues Artist.
