Peshtigo Historical Day is a day we use to celebrate the great Peshtigo fire of October 8th, 1871. We start off our day with a run/walk in the morning. Then follow with a parade at 10:30. The parade flows down French St. from Lee’s Family Foods to the stop lights. From there we take a left leading us straight to Badger Park where the days main festivities are held. Most following activities begin at noon, with Historical Reenactors, an arts and crafts sale, music, bounce houses, face painting and balloons, tons of food and beverages. WAUKESHA COUNTY FAIR
3RD WEEK OF JULY
Bursts of laughter, heart-thumping excitement, and the timeless joy of coming together are just small elements of what makes the Fair special. Whether it’s the thrill of boots kicking up dust in the show ring, sneakers hitting the midway pavement as rides spin and lights flash, or dancing shoes tapping along to the beat of the main stage, every step tells a story. You’ll find “kicks” in every corner — from the pride of a blue ribbon to the simple satisfaction of a corn dog shared under the summer sun. It’s where generations meet, where traditions are relived and new memories are made, and where every fairgoer discovers their own brand of fun.
