ANDREW GELLES BAND

The Andrew Gelles Band plays out and about Southeastern Wisconsin. The band is led by Andrew, who began playing guitar at age 12. We're a blues-rock-r&b group with a funky groove sounds. Kind of like Jimi Hendrix had a baby with James brown!

Electric blues and classic, funky r&b. Think Jimi Hendrix, Al green, Bill withers and James brown.

Now, some 20 years later, The Andrew Gelles Band has played hundreds of shows. They have opened for legends like Johnny Walker, Koko Taylor, Greg Koch, Buckwheat Zydeco, and Cowboy Mouth.

The Andrew Gelles Band is a regular at "The World's Largest Music Festival", Milwaukee's own Summerfest.
